Our Story & Vision

Micah and Nat have known each other through their extended family for years, but it wasn’t until a chance reunion at a family gathering in summer 2023 that they began exploring new ways to improve drug development. By January 2024, they were deep in conversation—aligning on a shared frustration with the soaring costs and bureaucratic hurdles in clinical R&D. Inspired by the emergence of AI/LLM technologies, they officially founded Vital Clinical Solutions in October 2024. Together, they envision a more democratic, cost-effective future for clinical trials—one where intelligent automation handles repetitive tasks, veteran expertise guides critical decisions, and more therapies can reach patients faster. VCS combines human judgment with AI-driven efficiency to strip away unnecessary overhead and unlock true innovation across the entire R&D value chain

Micah’s Background: Micah, a UC Davis computer science graduate, built scalable vaccine tech platforms through two pandemics and spearheaded digital transformations at Bayer, Novartis, and GSK. Leading global teams across the US and Europe, he empowers R&D to deliver results faster by eliminating operational bottlenecks. He’s driven high-stakes programs—from M&A and divestments to major reorganizations—uniting diverse, multicultural teams around bold change agendas. Passionate about cutting non-value work, Micah now brings his proven track record of streamlined tech to deliver innovative solutions.
